A Journey to ... Advent 2021

Dieses Jahr geht es auf Reisen mit unserem Adventskalender. Einmal rund um den Globus - in die Tiefen der Ozeane, in die Stadt, wir stöbern durch Blütenprachten und landen am Strand. Habt ihr Lust mitzukommen? Wir freuen uns sehr, euch diesen Winter mitzunehmen!

This year we'll take you on a journey with our advent calendar. We'll wander all around the globe - into the deep sea, into cities, we'll embrace blooming pretties and we'll see the beach. Are you with us? We can't wait for you to join us this winter!

Earth, Wind and Fire 2020

Bevor es weiter auf Reisen geht, lasst uns nochmal einen Blick auf den Kalender vom letzten Jahr werfen.

Earth, Wind & Fire war das Thema in 2020. Das große, rechteckige Tuch wurde aus 21 Minis und einem flauschigen großem Strang gestrickt. Durch die ungewöhnliche Form und die drei nacheinander gestrickten Paneele haben viele bis zum Schluss gerätselt, was da am Ende des Mystery KAL wohl auf ihrem Schoß liegen würde.
Entworfen hat das Tuch Susanne Sommer und wir freuen uns sehr, sie auch dieses Jahr wieder an Board zu haben.

Earth, Wind and Fire was the theme for 2020. The big rectangular shawl was knit from 21 mini skeins and one full size fluffy skein. The unusual shape and the three individually made panels left many wondering what the final shawl would look like at the end of the mystery KAL.
Designed by Susanne Sommer we are very pleased to have her on board with this years KAL as well.

Advent auf Reisen

Also was können wir euch zum Adventskalender dieses Jahr schon verraten?
Nun vorne weg, bestellt werden kann ab August (das genaue Datum folgt natürlich rechtzeitig auf all unseren Kanälen) und Vorrat solange der Vorrat eben hält :)

Es wird wieder vier Farbvarianten geben. Alle in sich sehr harmonisch und dem Auge schmeichelnd. Thematisch geht es in die Stadt, an den Strand, in den Ozean und mit der Nase voran in einen Blumenstrauß. (wir sind beide auch noch super unentschlossen, die Qual der Wahl!)

Und natürlich wird es wieder ein Mystery KAL. Die endgültige Größe und Form die uns Susanne mit ihrer Anleitung bastelt, ist natürlich noch geheim! Aber ein Tuch wird es - soviel können wir schon mal verraten ;)

Steffi schreibt eben, dass sie wohl den Strand stricken wird. Und keine zwei Minuten später, dass die blühenden Weiten aber auch so schön sind. Soviel zum Thema entscheiden, haha.

Advent - a journey

So what can we spill about this years advent calendar already?
Well, first things first: the ordering can start in August (precise date will be shared through all our platforms in time) and storage will last until storage lasts :)

There will be four versions again. All of them very harmonic and pleasing to the eye. Topic wise we'll see the big city, the beach, the deep ocean and blooming glories. (if you ask us for our pick, we're super undecided, agony of choice!)

And of course it will be a mystery KAL. The final shape and size of the shawl Susanne is designing for us is still a secret! But I guess we can share it will be a shawl, but don't tell anyone ;)

Steffi just wrote, she'll pick the beach colorway. And only two minutes later that the blooming world is so pretty too.. Talking about decisions, right?
