About us

Frida Fuchs is a small runned business based in Berlin. It was established by Jana and Julia, two sisters from Berlin.

Frida Fuchs came into life as a little online-shop in May 2015. Three years later the start-up has grown into a regular business. We are happy to welcome you in our studio in Berlin-Reinickendorf where we offer workshops and our support in choosing colors.

From January 2019 on Steffi and Marion, owners of Yarnover Berlin, an onlineshop (www.yarnoverberlin.com) and store in the heart of Berlin at Kunsthof, Oranienburger Str. 27, and organizers of Berlin Knits Festival 2015 and 2017, are the new owners of Frida Fuchs.

Good to know ...

Thank you for considering to order from FRIDA FUCHS. Each order is very important to us. Please keep in mind that each skein of yarn is hand dyed in small batches of max. 5 skeins. We endeavor that all our colors can be reproduced, but as with all handmade items, each skein of yarn is unique – this gives our products their character and charm.

If you are planning a bigger garment project, be sure to purchase all the yarn needed for a project at one time. This guarantees that they originate from the same dye-batch. Nevertheless, there might be slight color-variations. In this case we recommend, to alternate your skeins every other row to camouflage any color differences between skeins.

We do our best to fully rinse out excess dye after dyeing. However, some color bleeding the first time you wash your project is common. We recommend washing in cold water, and separately from all other items. This is especially crucial for the first wash, as this is when color is most likely to bleed.

You are welcome to return or exchange your order within 14 days of your purchase date / of receiving it. Items must be in original condition and labels must be in tact to be eligible for return or exchange. Please email bestellung@fridafuchs.com to notify us of the return or exchange. Please include instructions on what you would like us to do (return and refund, or what you would like to exchange for). Yarn that has been caked or wound is not refundable. Shipping charges will not be refunded, and the buyer is responsible for the return postage on the item.

Should you experience any problems with our yarn during knitting, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will do everything we can to resolve the issue.

Happy knitting!
