Yarn Notes

Please note the following:

Our yarns are all hand-dyed with acid dyes. The colors are permanently preserved by acetic acid and heat. With very bright colors, it may at first and sometimes come in the second washing even to color bleeding. That is, the excess of pigments are flushed out.

We would like to point out when vivid colors are combined with bright colors while knitting that it is absolutely advisable to wash the wool before. Otherwise it may afterwards come on the bright area of spotting.

Washing instructions for a skein:

Place the skein in a filled with lukewarm water basin / bowl and soak the skein carefully and push the excess paint from it. Let it rest for 15 minutes. Then washing the skein under clear water again, wring it out gently and hang it to dry.
