Workshop: Yarn dyeing for beginners on Saturday, April 11th 2026 from 11am
Have you ever wanted to dye the yarn for you next project by yourself?
In this workshop you will learn the basisc. We develop the dyeing process step by step together and you will soon hold your first own hand dyed yarn in you hand. Weather you will dye an entire sweater quantity or just some skeins for socks or shawls - it's up to you. We will have about 4 to 5 hours of time and you can take your dyed skeins with you or pick them up later when they have dried. The material is not included, it has to be paid on top during the workshop. You can choose between our yarn bases (prices from 5€ for Minis, from 15 € for merino and sock bases and from 22 € for luxury blends).
What you can expect:
- workshop dyeing on woolen yarn and woolen blends - basics and different techniques
- small group: 5 participants
- location: our dyeing studio in Berlin Köpenick
- duration: 4-5 h
- soft drinks like tea, coffee and water will be offered
- please bring your own apron and wear clothes that can be polluted
- please do not bring your own yarn - except your knitting project to bridge the waiting time
Please do not order the workshop together with other articles.
You can order this workshop for you or for others and even give it away. If you cannot participate please let us know and you'll get a refund (up to 10 days before the event we only charge 5 € for the refund). If you want to cancel less than 10 days before the date, a refund is not possible. But please contact us in this case and we try to find a solution.
