„CHAMELEON – Im Advent“ – is the topic for this year´s advent calendar !
Like a chameleon being able to change its colour you will be able to change colours from beginning to the end of your project by marling with all these lovely mini skeins !
CHAMELEON is a labour of love and a real team work from both of us – Steffi had fun in the dye pots – and Marion designed three huge shawls. The two of us are different – the colour schemes are different – and your projects will be different – each one is unique – like every CHAMAELEON is.
COLOUR themes:
Steffi outdid herself and had fun in the dyepots – all colours are unique and no two kits are alike.
You can choose between these themes:
„neutral with a colour pop“
„totally crazy“
„in the woods“
„berry cocktail“
„spicy“
YARN:
You will get 24 Minifüchse made from 75 % Blue Faced Leicester and 25 % Nylon with 85 m / 20 gr or 24 Minifüchse made from 100 % superwash Merino in your chosen colour scheme. There also is a „de luxe version“ with our Silk Mohair „Fiffi“. The „de luxe version“ contains 16 miniskeins plus 8 minififfis – these kits are very limited. Upon request you can also get 16 minifüchse plus 3 regular Fiffi lace skeins (attention, a total of 19 skeins only).
We decided not to wrap every single skein this year and we also will not add any goodies. You will receive a beautiful bouquet of yarn in your chosen colour theme. This way it is totally up to you choosing the next skein and creating your very own unique chamaeleon.
PATTERN:
This year there is no mystery pattern and no MKAL. You will get an eBook with three different shawl designs from Marion, which you can knit with your advent calendar yarn. The three designs use the “marling technique” - which just means you hold two different colours/yarns together - this way you will have endless possibilities making your chamaeleon unique. But we would also like you to play with your yarn and start your own designs or projects – so let your imagination run wild ! We´d like to see your progress in our Frida Fuchs Ravelry group where we would like all advent calendar knitters to support each other all December long. At the end of the year we will pick a winner of a Frida Fuchs voucher worth 100 Euros among the active Ravelry members.

Calendars will ship with DHL in November.
